First Responders Virtual IOP
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for First Responders & Veterans in Iowa
Built for Those Who Serve — Delivered with Confidentiality and Respect
First responders and veterans face experiences most people will never fully understand. Repeated exposure to trauma, critical incidents, high-stakes decision-making, and the weight of responsibility can leave lasting psychological effects — even long after the uniform comes off.
Eagle View Behavioral Health is proud to offer a confidential, 2-week Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed specifically for first responders and veterans across Iowa. This evidence-based program focuses on treating trauma and related mental health conditions in a structured, secure, and culturally competent environment.
Your privacy matters. Your career matters. Your well-being matters.

A Confidential Program You Can Trust
We understand that concerns about confidentiality are often one of the biggest barriers to seeking help.

- Fully confidential
- Delivered via secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual technology
- Facilitated by professionals who understand the importance of discretion
- Designed to protect your privacy while providing meaningful peer support
Participation in treatment remains private and is handled with the highest level of professional and ethical standards. Our team understands the unique career implications and cultural concerns within military and first responder communities.
Seeking support is a sign of strength — and it can be done safely.
Evidence-Based Treatment: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
This program is grounded in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) — a highly researched and effective treatment for trauma and PTSD. CPT helps individuals:
- Understand how trauma impacts thoughts and beliefs
- Identify “stuck points” that keep people feeling trapped
- Challenge unhelpful thinking patterns
- Reduce shame, guilt, and self-blame
- Develop healthier, more balanced perspectives
- Reclaim a sense of control and purpose
Rather than avoiding traumatic memories, CPT provides a structured framework to process them safely and effectively — reducing long-term symptoms and improving overall functioning.
Program Structure
Our 2-week Virtual IOP includes:
Three group therapy sessions per week
Structured CPT-based curriculum
Peer support with others who share similar professional and lived experiences
Clinicians specially trained in trauma care for first responders and veterans
Each group session is led by experienced behavioral health professionals who understand the culture, language, and unique stressors of military and first responder communities.
The virtual format allows participants to receive high-quality, confidential care from anywhere in Iowa — without commuting or disrupting work schedules.
